West Georgia heads into their first home game of the year at 2-0 after last week’s win against Limestone. Next up on the schedule is Albany State, and the Wolves look to keep the ball rolling.
Last season, the West Georgia put up 35 unanswered points to beat Albany State 45-21 in a Week 3 match-up. Onto this season, the Wolves have yet to give up more than 14 points in their two games, and look to slow down yet another offense.
Defensive standouts Korie Rogers, Chris Blackston, and Matthew Parker look to continue their strong defense and stop an Albany State offense that lost a close game last week against Mississippi College.
Senior wide receiver Michael Green racked up 102 yards and hauled in two touchdowns last week, and West Georgia’s defense likely took note.
Be sure to come out, or watch the live feed that will be posted on West Georgia’s football page on their website at 7:00 p.m.
